Pomegranate

The pomegranate belongs to the family of loosestrife and is cultivated in Asia and the Mediterranean. Characteristic are the many red seeds, which are called granum in Latin, from which the name pomegranate is derived.

Our pomegranates are cultivated according to the methods and philosophy of biodynamic agriculture.

Pomegranates are prized for their high nutritional value in addition to their sweet taste. In addition to a broad mineral profile, pomegranates have a high content of phytochemicals, which have an antioxidant effect and thus counteract oxidative stress.
